Canadian Cold Spray Conference
The Industrial
Materials Institute of the National Research Council
(NRC-IMI) will host a two-day conference on cold spray on
June 15-16, 2010.
The 2nd
Canadian Cold Spray Conference (CCSC) will provide a forum where
researchers, technicians, manufacturers and end-users will
review recent advances, current needs and future challenges in
cold spray. The conference structure includes a series of
presentations from invited speakers covering a full range of
topics related to cold spray. In addition, there will be visits
to MAMADC’s cold spray facility, and
table top displays for
companies to showcase the latest technologies in the cold spray
field. Contributions in the form of posters are also solicited
from graduate students. This event is a venue for exchanging
ideas and identifying opportunities for making concrete advances
in the field. With a spotlight on the aerospace, energy,
automotive and military sectors, the conference will focus
on the following themes:

FQRNT best poster award - The deadline for submission of 200-word
abstracts for student poster presentations is May 15, 2010.
